SAP has always had multiple mobile technology platforms supporting the development of applications and deployment of scenarios that would extend the reach of its Enterprise Applications to its workforce, anywhere, anytime.  But only recently, through the acquisition of Sybase, and with the crisp and clear positioning given at SAPPHIRE 2011 in Orlando, customers now fully understand SAP's statement of direction regarding the future of its mobile technology platform.

But now many customers are wondering how to really get started, and what to consider in order to prioritize their internal mobile initiatives.  This presentation will analyze the different mobile scenarios ranging from "nice to have" to "must have" to  "mission-critical", as well as types of mobile users and the nature of the application whether it be focused on data capture, transactional or analytical.  And some considerations to keep in mind to help weigh in the pros and cons of when to use connected "always on" mobile applications versus disconnected "offline" ones, or a hybrid of the two.
