Consultants – SAP ESS / MSS Solutions

POSITION SUMMARY:
The incumbent has the responsibility to perform fully competent HR consulting services to /n Spro's customers on a billable basis, and ensures that customers have successful SAP ERP HCM implementations and a high degree of customer satisfaction in our products and services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
− Gathering and documenting SAP ESS requirements obtained through interviews, workshops and/or meetings
− Determining and documenting technical solutions
− Configuring ESS functionality
− Developing client-specific services using ABAP WebDynpro
− Setting up Employee Self Service (ESS) functions within the existing SAP portal
− Recommending associated security/access changes
− Contributing to the implementation of implementation and training plans, and change management strategies
− Ensuring knowledge transfer to internal resources
− Providing support and problem-solving expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products
− Acting as a liaison for troubleshooting: investigating, analyzing, and solving software problems
− Adhering to SAP standards/best practices
− Maintaining one’s own professional development; including continuous learning of new SAP products/technologies, and communicating experiences and solutions to fellow colleagues
− Accurately maintains documentation of time and expense reports, along with additional administrative tasks
− Assisting with internal activities: hotline, remote consulting, presales, and trade shows as necessary
− Assisting with preparation of training materials; teach on-site classes as required.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
− Completion of undergraduate university degree, community college diploma or equivalent business experiences
− Experience in HCM and SAP ESS/MSS configuration and process development
− Experience in the development of workflows for HR transactions and MSS
− Experience in Portal Content Administration
− Experience in guided procedure development in SAP Portal 7.01 and ESS/MSS in ECC 6.0
− Experience in EHP5 ABAP WebDynpro ESS/MSS objects and development
− Experience in PA, OM, Benefits, Time Management (including rule writing), Payroll (including rule writing) is an asset
− Analytical and problem solving abilities
− Strong interpersonal skills
− Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
− Excellent written and oral communication skills
− Fluency in both French and English is an asset
WORKING CONDITIONS:
− Ability to travel is optimal
− Must be willing to adjust work schedule to fit the requirements of the task at hand
− Must be prepared to work within a large variety of work environments
